I smacked my forearm against the edge of the door. i have a large knot that is very painful. my wrist and hand also hurt.what could it be?

Most like a: Concussion with a blood clot under the skin. However it could also be a fracture. Ice the area and take some tylenol (acetaminophen). If not better in a few days see your doctor.

Xray: You could have a bad bruise or a broken bone. An xray can help differentiate.
