Not Likely: The body has ways of forcing you to breathe. If you try to go to long without breathing. This is the same reason why it is impossible to harm yoursefl by holding your breath. If you eat too much, you may stuff your stomach and GI tract, but your lungs are unaffected, and eventually you will breath when you need to.

Yes it's possible: Although rare, it's possible. Reflux followed by aspiration in to lungs, choking, very rarely GI tract rupture are some of the causes in acute cases. In long term obesity kills you by metabolic syndrome and its consequences.
