Overall health: There is no special diet a kidney donor has to follow. I recommend common sense and overall health maintainence. Don't put yourself at risk for kidney problems. Therefore maintain a healthy weight to avoid adult onset diabetes and problems with hypertension. Don't smoke. Watch cholesterol. Exercise.
