Several: The most common complication is bleeding postoperatively. Other complications include septal perforations, scarring, loss of smell and taste as well as possible need for for further surgery. If you include sinus operations the complications there include potential eye injury, brain injury, and brain fluid leak. If your surgeon is very experienced and does lots of nasal and sinus surgery the risk of complication is significantly less.
