YES: Please consider that chewing tobacco is in your mouth for a much longer period of time than cigarette smoke. Don't be under any illusion that chewing tobacco is "natural" or safer. It is worse than cigarettes.

Sure does: Cannot cause gum disease, that is a bacterial infection. But it can cause problems with your gums like recession. That nicotine poison is still getting into your system as if you were smoking it.

Yup: The tobacco still contains carcinogens, and they can leach directly into your soft tissues. Alcohol only accelerates the process.
