Heel wound: The heel is the unsung hero of the foot. It bears the brunt of the body's weight during gait. Due to this force wounds on the heel are very difficult to close .First it must be determined that the wound is clean and not infected. If due to a puncture wound .Medical attention should be sought to make sure it is clean and to determine need for tetanus toxoid.Bandage with heavy gauze and kerlix

Gauze wrap.: You may to wrap the area with roll gauze if it is under the foot.
