Yes: Long donation can be done with donor asthma. Sometimes the asthma can come back in the transplant lungs although this is not that common.

Depends: It depends on the severity of your illness, generally only pristine lungs are desirable due to the complexity of the transplant and the difficulty that lung transplants tend to impose on the transplantee.
