A member asked:

If a person has an organ transplant, does the person take on the donor's likes and interests?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No but...: There is no evidence that a recipient of a solid organ transplant takes on characteristics of the donor. That said, it has been reported that a recipient post transplant develops a new peanut allergy shared by the donor. This is likely due to transfer of cells from donor to recipient that confer the allergy.
