A member asked:

I have a mouth sore that causes pain when i chew and swallow food. it is not visible on the inside of my mouth but can be felt offsetting my jaw line.?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Mouth sore/jaw pain: This could be anything from an abscessed tooth to something more serious. If it's not visible inside your mouth, that's unusual. If you feel a lump on your jaw line, you would probably benefit from an x-ray. See your family dentist or local oral surgeon and get it looked at.
