Pityriasis rosea: Pityriasis rosea is usually a temporary and mild cause of skin rash--occurring most commonly in spring and fall. It can itch, but not usually extremely itchy. Signs of healing are: first--no new lesions, second--less itch, and third--fading in redness of existing lesions.
