A member asked:

What could cause swelling in the heel of my foot?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Some sort of : Inflammation. In the back of the heel it can be achilles tendonitis, on the bottom, plantar fasciitis. Those are two of the most common causes, but if you've experienced some sort of injury, as in a fall from a height, there can be others. Have it checked out by a podiatrist to be sure.
