What is the best way to remove a contact that is stuck in your eye?

Soft or hard lens: Soft lens can get stuck under the eyelid and you can have a medical professional remove. Rigid lenses sometimes need little rubber plungers to help remove. These also can get stuck in the fornices of the lids, so it's helpful to see your eye care provider.
