No: If you do rinse your mouth after using listerine you will decrease the effectiveness of the listerine. I would follow the directions and stick to them.

No.: Listerine is an effective way to lower the bacteria count in the mouth. It is one of the few mouthrinses that does this. Because the bacterial-killing effect lasts beyond the time you are swishing it in your mouth, a water rinse afterward will reduce the effectiveness.
