Difficult problem: Olecranon bursitis/infections can be very difficult to cure. His doctor will need to aspirate and culture out the pus (if he/she hasn't done that already) to find the right antibiotic. Sometimes these need to be treated with intravenous antibiotics and sometimes require surgery.
