Cervical mucous: It sounds like cervical mucous. Unless you are having other signs of labor such as contractions and pain, this is probably nothing to worry about. Make sure you are not having bleeding, or are leaking fluid. And when you are unsure of something in pregnancy, always call your OB doctor.
