No: Meconium ( the first bowel movements) is composed of a rich collection of early bile, enzymes, & digested material. If passes at or before birth, it's presence in the lungs can cause a dangerous irritant pneumonia of varied severity.Chance ingestion of the material at or before birth has no effect on the digestive tract . The gas & fussiness are a separate issue, likely reflux or food intolerance.
