Rest: You probably have a viral infection, and antibiotics will not be effective. You may have mono, which is caused by the epstein-barr virus. This can be tested by blood tests. Your body's immune system will clear the viral infection on its own. The best thing to help your immune system is to rest, drink plenty of fluids, eat nutritious food.
