Maybe okay: Sorry for saying maybe, but there are no studies about using Enbrel (etanercept) while breast feeding. That said, it is unlikely that Enbrel (etanercept) passes into breast milk in large amounts. Also, Enbrel (etanercept) is not well absorbed orally, so a baby would not likely absorb a large amount of medication through breast feeding, either. If you need to use enbrel, (etanercept) it should be okay. Speak with your pediatrician.
