Just Stop It: All stimulants wear off everyday, or else one wouldn't be able to sleep at night. Stimulants are taken every morning and wear off, usually after about eight hours. Finally, there are no real "tests" for adhd. The diagnosis is made, as are all mental illnesses, based on specific criteria from our diagnostic manual.

Concerta: Even though tests for adhd are inconclusive, wonder if being on Concerta had effect on outcome of test. Your prescribing doctor is best guide to what to do with your meds.

50mg/day of Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) has given me my life back -- but shot my BP up. Doc wants to switch to concerta. But why not just add a BP med? Is that safer?
