Yes: Extremely little is found in the breast milk after an MRI injection and an extremely small amount of this is absorbed by the baby's gastrointenstinal system. That being said, to avoid any amount at all winding up in the baby some MRI departments will advise pumping ahead and waiting a day after to resume breast feeding. Our MRI department does not advise stopping breastfeeding after an exam.
