Read below: A broken talus, if healed, should be fine to walk on after being removed from the cast for a few weeks. Consult with your doctor or surgeon as per what your limitations may be. Good luck.

You will be able: To walk if the bone heals properly and when it does. Keep in mind we do not know the extent of the break to determine how well it can heal. Be sure to follow your surgeons recommendation. I would think the surgeon performing the operation would have an idea of the healing potential of your injury and when you may be able to walk again.
