Lots of causes: Leg numbness is a non-specific symptom with many causes. A good history and exam, and sometimes full workup including imaging, and nerve studies are needed. The numbness could be due to impingement of a nerve in your back, buttock , leg, or foot, could be due to a metabolic disorder, or even a problem in the brain or spinal cord. Please see your doctor for a full work up! good luck!
