Mucus: Hydrate well with water. Or consider using warm fluids like herbal teas or soups. Consider use of a humidifier to moisten the mucus. If this is a chronic problem - have it checked out medically. Take care.

If Winter: It is winter and your complaining now. Most commonly when the heat comes on and brings down the humidity in the house, these things happen. Have your a/c guy install an automatic humidification system in your home. Much better than carrying buckets of water to a floow model humidifier.

Hydrate well &: Gargle. Saltwater gargles are very helpful. Mix a teaspoon of salt in 8 oz of warm water – gargle with this several times a day. You can gargle with aloe vera juice a couple of times per day. A mixture of chamomile tea with honey & a small amount of lemon juice is good.

Cobblestone: Cobblestoning is a term for post nasal drip causing a cobblestone appearance in the back of your throat. To reduce post nasal drip, many people will use a nasal steroid or an antihistamine. Cobblestoning of your throat though is not life threatening.
