Simple: Ask him this question..Tell him about your fears and apprehensions...It might just be your own feelings/fears...Perhaps seeing a therapist/psychiatrist/psychologist and discussing this might help..? By far and away, most docs are honest and caring and want you to know as much as you want to know about your condition..
