A member asked:

Is it true you still ovulate on birth control? i heard people say doctors lie and dont tell u you still ovulate. please tell me truth

A doctor has provided 1 answer

? trust issue ?: You imply that you expect us to lie. Nice opening. Some forms of birth control do not prevent ovulation.Condoms, IUD's, foam, morning after pills, etc. will not prevent ovulation but interfere with pregnancy in other ways. Some are hormones that trick the body into thinking it is pregnant ( you don't ovulate during pregnancy). Accept the info if you wish, or believe your gossipy friends.
