Yes for neoplastic : Yes for the neoplastic polyps- like adenomatous, sessile, hamartromatous polyps etc. However, the answer is no for the non-neoplastic polyps such as hyperplastic polyps, inflammatory polyp, mucosal polyp, pseudopolyps- as the risk for cancer development is very low.
