If i take atenol/chlorthal 50/25 can i take mucinex (guaifenesin) for cough?

Medication: Atenolol is a beta blocker. Has slowing affect on heart. Mucinex (guaifenesin) can also have slowing affect by different mechanism. Can be used with caution if any light headedness interrupt Mucinex (guaifenesin) not atenolol.
