Yes: The goal of bodybuilding is to build an aesthetically pleasing and (usually) bigger physique. The goal of strength training is brute strength, usually as defined by one rep maximum lifts. Building bulk a la bodybuilding usually requires higher reps (8-12 range) while strength training emphasizes lower reps (4-5) with occasional sets in the 3, 2, or even 1 rep range.
