Nothing specific: You are going to have to try on many shoes to find smothing that feels correct on your feet. I would avoid slip on shoes, such as loafers.

Advise an : Arch support to be added to whatever shoe you purchase. Likly, the shoe itself won't have a high enough arch.

Comfort: A high arch indicates a rigid foot and the shoe should offer adequate shock absorbency to prevent traumatic arthritis to the knee back and hips. The shoes and body should not have pain after wearing the shoes for 8 hours.
