Can it be possible to have juvenile rheumatoid arthritis as a kid but not have it show up in blood work as an adult?

Yes: Many patients with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis "grow out" of it.

Yes, no blood test..: There is no blood test for juvenile rheumatoid/idiopathic arthritis. Kids can have all completely normal labs and still have very active disease. It is a clinical diagnosis based on inflammation of the synovial cells lining the joints that can be seen as joint swelling much of the time on exam. Kids never "outgrow" jia/jra. They have it for life, even as adults with flares of arthritis (not ra).
