Depends on the cause: You need to differentiate excess skin and fat in the upper lids from true ptosis (abnormally low position of the lid on the eyeball.) see a board certified plastic surgeon, facial plastic surgeon, or oculoplastic surgeon to make this determination. In some cases, insurance may pay for correction of drooping eyelids. Good luck!

Droopy eyelid: There are several causes of a droopy eyelid. Your best bet would be to have your eyes evaluated by a board certified facial plastic surgeon.
