Not likely: It's not a common injury statistically however it is a serious injury that will usually require surgical correction.

Not very likely: Tendon ruptures do happen, but are rather rare. Treatment depends on which tendon was ruptured and where it was ruptured. If you are concerned about a tendon rupture, i would recommend evaluation by a health care professional.
