A member asked:

Is it possible for a permanent crown to be altered once it has been cemented?

Minimally: Once cemented a crown can only be altered minimally without removing and recementing which can be a difficult task. Once cemented the crown or opposing tooth can be selectively "ground down" to make it fit and feel better.
