No.: Toxoplasmosis transmits when oocysts excreted in cat droppings sit in kitty litter or soil for several days so they can mature to an infectious stage. The transmission is not aerosol but rather litter-to-hand-to-mouth. The same type of transmission occurs from contaminated soil.

Toxoplasmosis: The only way that you would get Toxosplasmosis from the liter is if was contaminated with Toxoplasma gondii oocysts. If only your cat is using that litter box and your cat is not infected it should not be an issue. Does more than one cat use that litter box?
