Your psychiatrist: Your psychiatrist cannot control your suicidal thoughts, but would surely want to know about them. Your psychiatrist can review your medicines to optimize for the symptoms you have. S/he can also recommend psychotherapy for you -- especially dialectical behavioral therapy if suicidal thoughts are chronic. There are many ways to deal with painful emotion; dbt teaches non-suicidal ones.

Not sure: Have you discussed this with your psychiatrist? I am not sure what he or she might do, but your psychiatrist cannot help without knowing about the thoughts. I am not in a position to make recommendations about the medication, as i don't know your background and history. If you aren't getting what you need from your doctor, you may need to consider switching to someone who's more helpful.
