Circadian rhythm: Good question. The short and long answer is yes. Advanced sleep phase and delayed have a well-established genetic link. The other circadian disturbances are not so well established (free running type or irregular sleep/wake schedule.

Circadian rhythm: Not really...But, when a parent suffers with a circadian rhythm disturbance, it can often affect spouse and children, but there is no genetic link that is passed to progeny. The link would be solely environmental.
