A member asked:

Is there a special light to help the total blind to be able to use to improve the circadian rhythm and to resolve the sleep disorder?

Light: Possibly. If you can still detect light, a bright light can help improve your circadian rhythms-- any bright light will do, as long as you have good light exposure for several hours per day. Try to sleep in a dark, quiet room.

It depends: blue light seems to be best to help entrain circadian phase, however the use of light partially is dependent upon how receptive you are to light. There have been studies where light was still shown to help improve circadian rhythm in blind individuals, so it is still worth a try to see if it helps.
