Can a hanging eyelid be a symptom of sporadic fatal insomnia?

SFI is the ...: Non-inherited version of fatal familial insomnia. Both are prion diseases such as creutzfeldt-jakob and mad cow disease. I am not aware that a hanging (drooping?) eyelid which is called ptosis is in anyway related to sfi.
