No proven causality: The problem with answering this question is that the peak age of onset of crohn's disease is in the teen years. This is the same age as acne and Accutane use. A few studies suggested an association. Other well done studies found no link. None have proven a connection. If a link does exist, it is a very weak association. There is no evidence for causality.
