Yes: Scabies, lice, and crabs are all parasites that can infest hair covered areas of the body. Scabies usually burrow under the skin leaving itchy red tracks. Lice and their eggs attach to the hair. Crabs often are compared to moving dandruff. Each is treated differently. If you have scabies, you will need to obtain a prescription from your doctor.

Head hair is : Impacted much more often in children then adults. Scabies can be anywhere on skin they like going into skin folds (waistline, axilla, breasts, between fingers, feet, wrists, knees, elbows, buttocks ; genitalia. They aren't usually found on the face/scalp of adults.
