How long do ankle replacements last?

We don't know: Older ankle replacements appear to last about 10 years. Newer generation replacements that came on the market about 2 years ago will hopefully last longer, but we don't have the studies to tell us yet.

Longevity ankles: Good question. It depends on which one you are talking about. But, in general the data suggest a survivorship of 85-90% at 10 years. We don't have the 15 year data yet.

10-15+ years: Most ankle replacement should last at least 10 to 15 years.
