Depends on cause: Some causes of toe swelling can include localized issues such as arthritis, infection, ingrown toe nails, trauma (fracture, sprain, and tendonitis, tight shoes) gout, and side effects to medication. Have it evaluated by a professional and get the appropriate treatment.
