Helps inflammation: When the inside of a tooth swells, there is nowhere for the swelling to go. The teeth can actually "strangle" themselves. The Medrol (methylprednisolone) reduces the swelling and gives your body a shot at healing the nerve tissue inside the tooth. If the nerve survives, you may be able to avoid more invasive treatment like root canal. If it doesn't work, you haven't lost much imo. Feel better!
