Why can't i bend my fractured toe after it has recovered?

Persistent swelling: On occasion toes remain swollen following a fracture. If this is your cause this will inhibit bending the toe. Another reason may be a torn flexsor tendon. My advise is go back to your podiatrist for further evaluation.

Stiff big toe joint.: Trauma can lead to pain and stiffness due to swelling, soft tissue injury, or arthritis. Have it evaluated by your podiatrist. You may benefit with physical therapy.
