A member asked:

What is the safest time frame for a bone to completely heal from a taylor's bunionectmy without questioning whether to start walking on your foot?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Bone healing: For a typical healthy patient it usually takes 6-8 weeks for bone to heal fully. If you do have an osteotomy (bone cut) this can be the expected recovery time. If it i'd simply a bone shaving you may be able to walk 2-3 days after surgery.
