My son has svt and reflux - are they related?

No: Svt is supraventricular tachycardia a heart rhythm disturbance. The heart rate is rapid and on can feel dizzy, short of breath or even feel anxious and have chest pain. The fast rate can be broken at home by holding one's breath or splashing cold water on the face. Your doc has special medication for this. Avoid caffeine. Reflux is usually due to an incompetent lower food pipe valve causing acid.
