Lockjaw or tmj?: I'm assuming you mean tmj. Lockjaw is a life-threatening infection. Treatment of TMJ problems requires the help of a dentist who extra training in TMJ disorders.

Lockjaw: It depends how frequent, if it is an open vs. Closed lock, your medications. Please see a specialist and treat it accordingly.
