Yes. Get checked out: With 'proven fertility' you should get prego in the first year of ttc again, but it can still happen naturally. This is a good time to see your obstetrician or a fertility specialist (rei) to help you to get pregnant again. We check you for ovulation issues like pcos, other hormonal problems, low egg supply, blocked tubes (did you have a c section?), problems inside your uterus or sperm problems.

Infertility : You now meet criteria for the diagnosis of infertility. At this point you should see your gynecologist or a reproductive endocrinologist for an evaluation. Women 35 years old and above should be evaluated after 6 months of unprotected intercourse.

Why you ?: If you have been trying for a year without success it is time for you BOTH to be evaluated. It takes two, and healthy sperm are part of the picture. You can start with calling your OBGYN for a referral to a fertility center. Both would be part of the evaluation. If they find a problem in either, they can provide the details on how to fix or work around it.
