No: Ectopic is a pregnancy outside of the normal place in the uterus. It is most commonly found in the fallopian tube but can also be found on an ovary , the cervix, in the abdomen or in the corner of the uterus. Ectopic s are treated with medication or surgery as the fetus cannot survive. Tubal ectopics may be associated with previous tubal damage from infection or endometriosis.

Not the usual: Ectopic is out of uterine cavity and requires removal. Most miscarriages are intrauterine and other problems with the embryo or implantation on the uterine wall.

It shouldn't: No. An ectopic pregnancy is one that forms in the fallopian tubes. You can have an ectopic pregnancy and miscarry but it doesn't work the other way around.
