A member asked:

Could tsh 0.6 & ft4 0.9 & extreme fatigue/low body temp possibly suggest pituitary problems? more workup or seek other etiology?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Work up: Hopefully, you have been referred to an endocrinologist to discuss these laboratory results. Single values in a vacuum often do not tell the whole story, and the hypothalamic, pituitary, thyroid, end organ axis can have a number of reasons for these results. Best to discuss with the person who ordered the tests to get an appropriate referral and make sure you're up to speed with the plan.
